During the semester I did a research, about "fake news". I opened a Facebook group which had 600 members. I posted every week news with two different options. The members were requested to answer which one of the options was fake.
I found that most of the members couldn't tell truth from lie, whether the lie was realistic enough and if both of the options were fake.
The conclusions were that fake news leads to doubts about real news, and most of the people don't verify the information that they read. All of this makes "fake news" a powerful weapon.
